Going back to a simpler life based on living by sufficiency rather than excess is not a step backward. Rather, returning to a simpler way allows us to regain our dignity, puts us in touch with the land, and makes us value human contact again.
have you ever stayed up late with someone texting or chatting and known as the hours ticked by that you’d be ridiculously tired in the morning but it didnt matter because it was really fun and totally worth losing sleep over just to laugh with someone and enjoy their company maybe and then the next day you keep tiredly recalling how much fun it was while you’re falling asleep in class and that makes it not so bad that you’re tired anymore
ok so, i know i said in previous posts that i would write on some topics. but i haven’t gotten around to it because i got stuck on a book. and then i got stuck on life. and right now i’m currently between life and another book, so i don’t know when i’ll post….but i’ll try
What do you say to somebody you like a lot, maybe more than like a lot, but you know it’s not love. You obviously don’t say “I love you.” but just “I like you a lot” is not enough. “I appreciate you?” “I care about you”
Maybe you say: “you have an awesome smile and cute dimples and I like that twinkle in your eyes. I’ve felt a few butterflies and you make my head spin when you kiss me. I love to hold your hand. Time with you is like a sunny, breezy day at the beach eating ice cream on the sand. I want to know what makes you tick. I want to be what makes you smile…..”
